We believe that living our lives together -- being honest in the midst of life's messiness-- will transform us and grow us into the people God is calling us to be. When we try to genuinely love people who are different from ourselves, we experience eternal life in the here and now.

We want to connect with the disconnected. We don’t want to do ministry to or for, but with. With who? In the gospel of Luke, Jesus talks about the poor, the blind, the lame, and the crippled. Eugene Peterson translates that as the misfits, those from the wrong side of the tracks. We’ve interpreted it as the outcasts, the lonely, the outsiders, and the forgotten.

In order for our community to realize our vision, it must be (and is) comprised of all kinds of different people – diverse in socio-economics, life experience, and theological perspectives. We foster this diversity because it is in the midst of others who are not like us that we discover our true selves and bump into the ever-active Spirit of God. These "others" include our friends, the lonely, the successful, the uneducated, those older and younger than us, those with very little and those with very much - all of us together, moving towards God.

So, we rent a building in the Crown Hill area that we want to serve as a community space. It houses our offices and has enough space to offer more “intersections” throughout the week. And, we worship there, in a style, format, and vibe that is open, affirming, and welcoming.

The value we place on relationships shapes our core values. Everything we do and everything we become should always begin and end with love. So, we value the concept of journeying with others, building trust and relationship so that we can become more and more vulnerable, humble, and transparent. Our community is a relaxed and laid back environment where each individual who walks through the door is considered a gift, a truly a one-of-a-kind treasure in heaven that God has trusted us with. We take that responsibility very seriously.

Our building is located 8543 15th Ave NW - that’s across the street from Value Village and in the same building as Taki’s Mad Greek Restaurant.

Parking is available on the street, in the lot shared with Pizza Hut and in the Chase Bank parking lot (on Sundays and week nights).
